Hume Cement’s Ramadan & Aidil Fitri Community Support

In March and April 2025, Hume Cement continued its long-standing tradition of giving back by sponsoring the Ramadan and Aidil Fitri celebration programs at two local places of worship. First, we partnered with Masjid Jamek Kota Bharu, Perak. Located just one kilometre from our plant, this village mosque holds a special place in our community. Shortly thereafter, we supported Surau As Syakirin in Taman Bina Jaya, Malim Nawar—2.4 kilometres from our facility—by funding their Aidil Fitri festivities. Our donation to the covered the costs of communal feasts, prayer arrangements, and gift hampers for children and elders. By maintaining this longstanding tradition, we reaffirm our commitment to uplifting the communities that surround us and strengthening the bonds of neighbourliness and faith.
