Our QA/ QC Engineer are responsible in performing all daily inspection and test of the scope and character; inspect for all quality related procedures in the site and ensures activity at site are as per approved method statement and inspection test plan; coordinate with the consultant’s representative for inspection and resolving quality issues.

As a Technical Engineer in Hume, you will be working on various tasks like conducting technical training, supporting pre and post sales activities; and participating in marketing. You are to ensure customer requirements and specifications are fully understood by the sales personnel; and that a clear line of communication is maintained between technical, sales and production.

This wide variety of tasks offer diversity in your work and no day will be the same.

With the knowledge gained in your studies, you apply engineering principles and practices to the optimisation of equipment, maintenance processes, and departmental budgets to achieve better maintainability, reliability, and availability of equipment.

As a Hume QS professional, you play a pivotal role in minimising the costs of a project and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality.

Site measurement, bills preparation, cost analysis, managing risks, preparing for tenders, sourcing of prices and evaluation of sub-contractors’ claims are some examples of challenging tasks a QS professional will undertake.
